Eric Shaffer

Eric Shaffer is the Chief Engineer with the City of Duluth, MN. He graduated from Geneva College with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1988 and Michigan Tech with Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering in 1993. He spent 20 years as a consulting engineer primarily designing and managing construction on wastewater treatment facilities and large pumping projects. He moved to the City of Duluth in 2008 where he is Chief Engineer for Utilities in charge of the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and natural gas.
